Shawna Nelson "grew up" in our church and was with us into her teen years. Now married, a young mom, and living in Louisiana, she is diagnosed with colon cancer. Today, she had her colon removed. Surgery went well and she is in recovery and doing well... let us pray she be cancer-free and a speedy recovery

For now, we are suspending Kids Quest until a new leader is in place. First, we are asking prayer for God to raise up the needed leadership, rather than attempting to "fill slots," because Jesus taught us to "pray for laborers for the harvest." It is our hope that soon, we will be back up-and-running, and yet, we must be patient and wait upon God's timing. In spite of the hold on mid-week children's ministry, we are still laboring to impart the life of Jesus into our kids through Sunday School and Children's Church. Your understanding and prayers are requested.
